8, THE EAGLES  ( $ 60 MILLION ) : Two of the American rock band's albums Their Greatest Hits (1971–1975) and Hotel California, were amongst the top best selling albums of the last century. In the music scene since 1971, the group had broken up in 1980, only to regroup in 1994. In 2007 they released the Long Road out of Eden, their first studio album since The Long Run in 1979. The 1994 album Hell Freezes Over was a mix of live and new studio tracks.
