Keiko Fukuda, the World’s Oldest Woman Who Earned Judo Black Belt!


Keiko Fukuda has devoted her life to Judo, amazingly even at the age of 98 she still practices Judo and has earned her the martial art’s highest honor.Sensei Keiko Fukuda, with a tenth degree black belt, making her the first woman who got the honor where only four people had achieved the same rank.


As a young girl living in Japan, Sensei Fukuda studied calligraphy, flower arrangement, and tea ceremonies but then she found her passion was only on Judo.


The clip explains that she endured gender discrimination and chose Judo over marriage for her dream. When she was young  Japan was very conservative. Women didn’t had much to say or to fight for. It was just not  allowed. But she fought for what she believed in.
“This was my marriage,” Fukuda said through tears. “This is when my life destiny was set.” To explain more about Sensei Fukuda’s days and how she dedicates her life for Judo.
